Turkish President to Unveil the Heavy Business-to-Business Agenda

On the invitation of Prime Minister Imran khan, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan is arriving today for a two-day visit in Islamabad.

As per the information, he will be accompanied by cabinet members, senior government officials, and CEOs of topmost Turkish companies. He will address a joint session of the Parliament of Pakistan. President Erdogan and Imran Khan will also speak to the Pakistan-Turkey Business and Investment Forum including businessmen and investors from both counties.

Erdogan’s visit to Pakistan is primarily focused on sharing his business-to-business agenda which will raise the number of export and import orders from Pakistan and turkey. 

It has been informed that more than 100 Turkish delegates will conduct meetings with Pakistani businessmen. These business-to-business meeting will cover:

  • Trade;
  • Investment;
  • Cooperation on tourism;
  • Military procurement;
  • Cooperation in other areas of the defense industry to energy;
  • Import and export;
  • Agriculture;
  • Paper production;
  • Automotive;
  • Construction & production.

Imran khan and Tayyip Erdogan will also have a one-on-one meeting after which they will co-chair the 6th Session of the Pakistan-Turkey High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council in the joint cabinet format.
