Pakistan Stock Exchange Recovers after Opening Crash

Pakistan Stock Exchange dropped by 1752.01 i.e. -5.76% to 28,664.04 as the first death was reported in the country due to coronavirus on Thursday.

At the time of filing this report at 1:45 pm, the benchmark KSE-100 Index showed signs of recovery from early meltdown and was being traded at 30,044.82 points. The recovery is visible after an early crash and halts in the early hours of Thursday.

With a downfall of -1.47% at market open, the BR-100 index also saw a negative change by dropping 42.97 points to 3,037.61, with

World Stock markets showed similar trends as many major markets reported continued losses.

New Zealand: -2.8%

Hong Kong: -4.5%

Indonesia: -5%

South Korea: -7%

India: -5.5%
