ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has released the details of the assets of Punjab Assembly members, according to which Abdul Aleem Khan turned out to be the richest member of the Provincial Assembly.
Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz owns assets worth Rs. 41.43 crore. Punjab Chief Minister has shown 11 residential houses worth Rs. The Punjab Chief Minister also declared himself indebted to the tune of Rs 97.1 million.
Hamza Shahbaz’s first wife Mehrul Nisa owns assets worth Rs 5 million while his second wife Rabia Hamza owns assets worth Rs 37.4 million.
Former Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar owns assets worth over Rs 58 million while Abdul Aleem Khan owns assets worth over Rs 1.70 billion.
Former provincial minister Murad Ras owns assets worth over Rs 38 lakh and Mian Mahmood Rasheed over Rs 18 crore.
Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi turned out to be the owner of Business assets worth Rs. 231.4 million. He declared non-agricultural land worth Rs. Pervez Elahi’s wife owns assets worth Rs 100 million.
Opposition leader Punjab Assembly Sabtin Khan owns more than 10 million assets. Sabtin Khan did not disclose the value of agricultural land. Provincial Minister Owais Leghari owns assets worth Rs 44 crore.
Member Punjab Assembly Hina Pervaiz Butt declared assets of 99.4 million. Hina Pervaiz Butt received 2 houses as a gift and she did not disclose the value of the houses she received as a gift.
Punjab Assembly member Sania Ashiq declared assets worth Rs 3.5 million. Former Health Minister Dr Yasmeen Rashid owns assets worth over Rs 2 crore.
Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly Sardar Dost Muhammad Mazari owns assets worth over Rs 2 crore.
