China’s President to Visit Pakistan Very Soon

The president of China Mr. Xi Jinping is planning on visiting Pakistan in the coming three to four months to promote trade and strategic business partnership between both countries.

Sources told Pak Revenue, although the dates of the key visits in Pakistan are being finalized yet, there is no such confirmation of Xi Jinping’s visit either from Pakistan or China.

The main agenda of this visit is to renew the international relations with Pakistan in the time of external and internal challenges in China.

Furthermore, the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will also be bought under discussion. One of the main projects under CPEC Phase-II will be introduced in the Railways Main Line 1. Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed is hopeful that ML-1 will be a progressive step towards reviving the Pakistan Railways.

China has always stood by Pakistan and supported the country at the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), which placed Islamabad on the grey list for not taking satisfactory measures to restrict money laundering.
