During the 46th meeting of Meezan Bank’s Shariah Supervisory Board, guidelines for digital Mudarabah-based mobile accounts have been approved.
Dr. Muhammad Imran Ashraf chaired this meeting in Karachi, President and CEO Meezan Bank- Mr. Irfan Siddiqui and Deputy CEO, Meezan Bank- Mr. Ariful Islam attended this meeting along with officials including Mr. Sheikh Esam, Mr. Mohamed Ishaq, Mufti Muhammad Naveed Alam, and Mr. Ahmed Ali Siddiqui.
The agenda of the meeting was to approve the guidelines for a digital Mudarabah-based mobile account, furthermore, the latest trends in Islamic banking were bought under discussion. According to these instructions, customers can open the mobile account without visiting the Meezan Bank branch.
