Saudi Crown Prince Accepts PM’s Invitation To Visit Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has congratulated Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz on the successful Hajj operation and Eid and invited him to visit Pakistan which he accepted.

According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, Shahbaz Sharif telephoned the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Saudi Arabia, Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and wished him a happy Eid-ul-Adha.

The Prime Minister wished Eid to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia and also extended his best wishes to the people of Saudi Arabia.
The Prime Minister congratulated the pilgrims on the successful Hajj operation and thanked the leadership and government of Saudi Arabia for taking good care of the pilgrims, especially the Pakistani pilgrims.

Reiterating the close fraternal ties between the two countries, the Prime Minister referred to the strong foundations of bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia which are gradually getting stronger and stronger over time.

The Prime Minister discussed bilateral initiatives and plans with the Saudi Crown Prince and agreed to strengthen cooperation in various fields, especially trade and investment. The two leaders agreed to work closely together to implement the decisions made during the Prime Minister’s visit to Saudi Arabia in April 2022.

According to the statement, the Prime Minister reiterated his invitation to the Crown Prince to visit Pakistan, which was accepted by Muhammad bin Salman.

The two leaders said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have a long-standing fraternal relationship based on common religion, history and mutual support.
