Pakistan’s MQM senior leader Waseem Akhtar has given a clear message to the federal government, saying that Prime Minister! Now do not give any body to the people of Karachi, if any dead body falls now, the missing workers are not recovered, then take over your own government.
Karachi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Waseem Akhtar on Saturday lashed out at the federal and provincial governments after offering namaz-e-janaza at Nishtar Road for allegedly killing MQM-P activist Abid Abbasi.
The funeral prayers of another MQM worker Raju were also offered in Shah Faisal Colony. The former mayor said that Karachi has gone towards destruction, the people of the city are picking up dead bodies, the government asked many times to recover the missing workers.
Hinting at leaving the government, he said that the Prime Minister will not give any body to the people of Karachi now, if no dead body falls and missing workers are recovered, then we will have nothing to do with the government.
