Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that we took over the government in a very difficult time, we got economic crisis due to previous incompetent government, if we have to make difficult decisions for economic recovery, we will do it .
Talking to media after the meeting of Federal Cabinet in Islamabad, he said that increase in prices of petroleum products was inevitable.
He said that the previous government had set a trap for the incoming government by stopping the rise in prices of petroleum products and giving subsidies. The burden of rising prices could be reduced.
He said that we took over the government in a very difficult time, because of the previous incompetent government we got economic crisis, the economic situation in the world is very bad, this is a difficult time but we will do our best to give relief to the people but economic If we have to make more difficult decisions for rehabilitation, we will do it.
“We will further reduce the tax burden on the people in the next budget,” he said.
