Dangerous Flood Situation of 2010 Due to Monsoon Rains

KARACHI: Federal Minister for Climate Change Sherry Rehman has expressed concern Monsoon Rains over the catastrophic floods of 2010 in the country.

He said that Punjab and Sindh are expected to receive above normal rainfall, which has already created a state of emergency in India and Bangladesh before the onset of monsoon while monsoon rains in Pakistan are expected to continue till at least August 2022. It is possible.
The Federal Minister warned that there is a high probability of flooding in rivers and streams which could also pose a threat to urban areas.

He said that some of the predictions regarding monsoon rains are that Pakistan may face flood situation of 2010 but all resources will be utilized to deal with possible floods.
