KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Monday forecast that the intensity of the weather is expected to further increase in Karachi.
Chief meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz said that the mercury may shoot up to 38 to 39 degrees Celsius from April 26 (Tuesday) and onwards.
“The temperature may even touch 40°C,” Sardar said, adding that winds from the north-west direction will possibly blow at a lower speed during the day.
The city has been under the grip of hot weather since the start of March.
